About the maintenance of beer families in a personal property of citizens - not members of collective farm. According to the legislation in all republics, except the Azerbaijan and Turkmen republics, the citizens who are not members of collective farms, living in a countryside, cities, working settlements and settlements, on personal plots can contain unlimited number of beer families. In Azerbaijan and Turkmenia there are restrictions to 10 beer families. The quantity of families which is supposed for the maintenance in a personal property of citizens, is defined by the republic legislation, and citizens - members of collective farm - the Charter of collective farm of republic.

For members of collective farm according to item 43 of the Approximate charter of collective farm the family of the collective farmer can have families of the bees which number is defined by the Charter of each concrete collective farm.

The Able-bodied citizens who are not engaged in socially useful work, under the decision of regional (city) Council of People's Deputies can be deprived the right of the maintenance of bees in a personal property.
